In Japan, there is a special celebration for people who turn 88 years old. It is called “beiju” (米寿) and it is made up of the characters for “rice” (米) and “long life” (寿). The word is said to come from the fact that the character for rice can be broken down into three parts that spell out 88: 八十八 (eight, ten, eight).

I wanna breathe Live and die by your Word Make believe In Passion and Grace I never dreamed I'd see you again Cant believe that you're here today
Back from all those years ago Just a joy to be home Looking at you now Time has not been your soul You're just the same today And i would love to hold you now Keeping you safe from harm From all the day forever more I made a lot of time Stealing my breath away
I wont ever let you go Now's the time to let you know I want you everyday Now that you're here again And from a world away And I will give you everything Even the clouds above For all the day forevermore I made a lot of time Stealing my breath away
If we could be on top of the world You and Me Together in time Then we will be in Passion and Grace Right in Her hands To the Dawn of the Day Dawn of the Day We will be riding Her To the dawn of the day We'll be riding high You and I You and I Your light will always shine Forever and a day Your passion and Your grace Riding Her to the Dawn of the Day
So you've heard me offer you the Price Lock Gas Cards, lower priced prepaid cards and what not just to save you a couple hundred bucks from the rising gas prices. Here's something new: Ethanol. Not just the E10 stu ff you see in Shell and other gas stations... My friend (technically Wyhan's friend) Dax has develo ped an engine attachment that allows cars to use purer Ethanol. According to him the unit also allows you to gas up with your regular favorite drink when you get tired of helping our environment and saving money. Save money and help environment has a rather nice ring to it right? Ok Gem, how much does this unit attachment cost? For now. the units Dax is selling goes oh, around 25k. Like a cellphone. However, like all you interested patrons, I'm awaiting with bated breath when the prices will drop and this will be available to the common tao. It's a good idea, and it's great to push for what you believe, like the dudes who pushed for the possibility of cheaper fuel and came up with this price differential: E85 is now available in select Seaoil branches. Soon, the world. Dax uses it on his beloved Honda, and soon, so shall I. I'll let you guys know how it goes. You'll know when you see a new bling on Ulysees's ass:

From my brother Atoy... and me showing my inner geek. 16 Gary Gygax Jokes We Better Not Catch You Making
Quick! Someone cast Raise Dead! Don't worry he's just playtesting the Astral Plane for the next edition. He's gone the way of Star Frontiers. Analysts warn of a free-fall in Mountain Dew futures. In the next town, you meet a stranger named Barry Bygax. Now who will lead our young people to Satan? With his last breath, he cursed the name of Marlon Wayans. I wonder how they'll divide up his XP. Pallbearers, make a Bend Bars/Lift Gates roll. "At least he didn't live to see Disney's Greyhawk On Ice." Lorraine Williams is behind this somehow, I just know it. The worlds of adventure gaming, fantasy fandom, and van painting will never be the same. When I heard, I cried 2d10 tears. Is there anything in the will about electrum? Heart condition? Wow, I always thought it'd be owlbears that got him. Suddenly, nobody in Heaven wants to hang out with Marilyn Monroe on Friday night.

Some Yankee probably didn't get a hold of playstation when he had the money to do so...Anyhow, an interesting outlook at the Gen X and the Gen before X kids. A note however: the guy who wrote this is probably in that 1930's year if you know what I mean. Those Born 1920-1979TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED the 1930's, 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's!!First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant. They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes. Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-based paints. We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking. As infants &children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, booster seats, seat belts or air bags.Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special treat. We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle. We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this.We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter and drank Kool-aid made with sugar, but we weren't overweight because, WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING!We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on. No one was able to reach us all day. And we were O.K.We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem. We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, no video games at all, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVD's, no surround-sound or CD's, no cell phones, no personal computer! s, no Internet or chat rooms.......WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents. We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever. We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls and, although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very many eyes.We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them!Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that!!The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law! These generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever! The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas. We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned HOW TO DEAL WITH IT ALL!If YOU are one of them CONGRATULATIONS !You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids, before the lawyers and the government regulated so much of our lives for our own goodWhile you are at it, forward it to your kids so they will know how brave (and lucky) their parents were.Kind of makes you want to run through the house with scissors, doesn't it?!
